Privacy policy
In plain English: what data I collect, why I need it and what rights you have.
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Matly Mateusz Matlęga, Bytomsko, gmina Żegocina, Poland, Polish tax ID (NIP): 8682006351. For anything related to your personal data, write to: kontakt@matly.dev.
2. What data I process and why
The only personal data that reaches me through this site is the data you choose to give in the contact form: your name, email address, optionally your company name and phone number, and the content of your message.
I process it only to reply to your enquiry and, if relevant, to prepare a quote. The legal basis is the legitimate interest of the controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), namely handling correspondence with people interested in working together.
3. Contact form
Messages from the form are delivered to my inbox by an external provider, FormSubmit, which acts as a processor. It does not use the data for any other purpose.
4. How long I keep data
I keep correspondence for as long as it takes to handle the enquiry and for the period in which we might return to talking about working together, and no longer than is justified. If we start working together, the data will be processed further to the extent needed to perform the contract and meet tax obligations.
5. Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager) only after you give consent in the consent banner (CookieYes). The legal basis is your voluntary consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Until you decide, default denial applies (Google Consent Mode): no analytics or marketing cookies are stored. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings icon or link visible on the site. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it was withdrawn.
Analytics data is aggregated and used only to understand how the site is used (pages visited, traffic sources). The recipient of this data is Google. Details are in Google’s privacy policy.
6. Your rights
- access to your data and a copy of it,
- rectification of your data,
- erasure of your data (the “right to be forgotten”),
- restriction of processing and objection to processing,
- a complaint to the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl), or to the supervisory authority in the country where you live.
To use any of these rights, simply write to kontakt@matly.dev.
7. Who receives the data
Data may be entrusted only to providers that keep the site and the mailbox running (hosting, email provider, FormSubmit), to the extent needed to provide those services. I do not sell or share data with anyone else.
